Some Ion icons are missing

Hello Forum

I'm using the Arthur template and looking for some Ion icons that should be there... for example I can't display the "Xing" icon - but where I have found on this Cheatsheet: https://ionic.io/ionicons/

It seems to me, that the icon-set, which comes with the installation, is not actual... could you please tell me, how I could upudate this icon set?

Our template supports Ion icons v2, however your example of "Xing" icon is v4.
Please wait for us to support v4 in this case.

Our dev checked both versions but there are significant changes in V4, they have totally different mockup, the way to implement into Joomla is different too, hence it's impossible to update directly from V2 to V4. To use V4 in template, it's kind of creating a new one to support template. This task would take time so pls use v2 for now 🙂

Ok, I understand your point.

So, when I'm creating the xing-icon as an .svg and insert this at the place, where the xing-icon should be, then I'm loosing the nice blue hoover effect as they is on the other social media icons... do you know why?

You can add this custom css for hovering color of that icon:

.social_icon.ion-social-xing:hover {
    background: #0070ba !important;
}

This case is for me solved now - but I'm waiting for the update for the new ion icons v4 ;-)

rstuber Could you use this for now? as I don't know when the new icons will be implemented, it totally depends on team's decision.
