Main menu colour not seen on live site

Hi there,

In the template (JA Ego 2.0.1) Theme Color settings, I have for the MAIN MENU:

Text #ffffff
Link #d3a907
Link Hover #ffffff
Link Active #084298

The Link colour is correct, but my settings for the Link Hover and Link Active do not seem to affect anything.

Also, what does the Text colour affect?

I would love some help here. I have been inspecting the CSS using the Chrome Developer Tools, but I can't see what's happening here.

Why does it need the additional CSS, is there a bug in the framework? Or did I do something incorrectly?
