JA University T3 Template and wish to update to Joomla v4.3

I am using JA University T3 Template and wish to update to Joomla V4.3 but Joomla warns me that this template, as well as the JA Slideshow Lite Module won't work on J4.3. Does JA University still even exist? If so, how/where can I find the version to keep on my website prior to updating my Joomla. Thank you in advance to whomever can help!

Hello Nic and thank you. I wish there was a phone number I could call and have someone walk me through this. JA Slideshow Lite Module and JA University T3 template is NOT compatible with Joomla version 4.3.2. I have already paid for JA University T4 template. How can I install them without disrupting my website?

Both the template JA University T3 (v2.0.0) and the module JA Slideshow Lite (v1.2.5) were recently updated, they should work with Joomla 4. Please make sure that you have the latest versions of these products installed.

In case you are already using the latest versions of the template / extensions and still got issue, please share with us the error in details & your site credentials (url, admin login). Our team will be able to go check for the problem at your site directly then.

The Lite Module does not work in joomla v4x according to my update. I think we will be changing our template, as obviously this one no longer works and it appears to be impossible to speak with a human being on this topic whom, no doubt, could clear up this issues within seconds. You can share the credentials of your site eg: URL + super admin account and clarify the error in more details so I can check for you.

Let me make my question more clear. Can I install JA University T4 over my website sans any difficulties? And if so, HOW??? Amazing you guys don't have a phone number. I've been trying to install now since May 10!!!

So I installed JA University T4 along with its Slideshow lite module for v.4 and it is still reading my old T3 (which I updated) and the older slide lite module, thereby disallowing me to upgrade my joomla! I just can't win and it seems that cust support is zero. Unless I get help real soon. I will need to ask for a full refund as we search for a new template to use on our website as obviously this appears to no longer be a good fit. PLEASE HELP!

JA University is built with T3 framework and we don't have template 'JA University T4'

If you meant JA University for Joomla 4, you can download the latest version of this template here and install into your site: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/joomlart/joomla-templates/ja-university/ja-university-joomla-4

Or use our JA Extensions manager component under Backend >> Components >> JA Extensions manager to update.

In case that you have any issue with JA University template or JA Slideshow Lite module in Joomla 4, kindly share the credentials of your site such as: URL + super admin account so I can check directly for you.

Repeating yourself does not help me. I have all the available updates, and now it has doubled. Please see figure 1.

Also, amazing you say you don't have JA University T4 when I got it about 6 weeks ago! See figure 2.

Since you are not able to assist with what I believe should be an easy fix, and you please have one of your colleagues take a look at this issue and try to help me? Thank you in advance.

Let's make it simple, please give me the steps from scratch on how to update my ja-university-j4 and the ja-slideshow-lite mod for j4 when I am in joomla 3.x wishing to update to v4.3.2. Thank you!!!

From your figure2, you have zip file 'ja-university-j4' - DON'T use this package - this is Quickstart package of template which is used for a brand new website only, if you're having an existing website, you should update JA University T3 template version 2.0.1 (2.51 MB) - the 2nd package in this download section: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/joomlart/joomla-templates/ja-university/ja-university-joomla-4

In order to update our template and extensions, we highly recommend to use our JA Extension manager component to update: Backend >> Components >> JA Extension manager (if you don't have this component installed, you can download it from above download section and install it).

When I installed the T3Template which you recommended, this was the message I received
Note: T3 blank requires T3 plugin to be installed and enabled.

I uploaded the JA ex mgr per your instructions.

HOWEVER, the JA Slideshow Lite Module still needs to be updated to v1.2.7. Sadly, you only offer 1.2.5!!!! I am still perplexed that this is sooooooooooooooooooo difficult and that you are still not giving all the answers that are required for this to be updated to joomla 4.3.2.

So, how about 1 more time. How can I accomplish this task???????????????????????????????

Still doesn't work! I should be charging you for all the hours I've put into this otherwise easy update from all other templates.

From your screenshots, you're still trying to update via default Joomla update channel, this update channel is used for free joomla extensions only. With our products, you should use JA Extensions manager as I mentioned details above.

You should go to Backend >> Components >> JA Extensions manager component and check + updates there.
