JA Comics | article detail 2 configuration

hi guys!!

please, I'm trying to configure the template COMICS at my site... but I haven't found the way to apply the ARTICLE DETAIL 2 LAYOUT (https://ja-comics.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/games/18-black-panther-legacy-items-arrive-from-funko-hasbro-rocklove-jewelry-and-more)...

I didn't see the instructions for that at the documentation... but don't know if its just me...

please, can you point me out what steps should I follow?

I made a child template and called it "mega" and also duplicated the html/com_content/detail-2.php to mydetail-comment.php but don't know if I'm missing some template configuration to be able to display the layout with the masthead included...

You can go to Options tab of article and choose 'detail-2' layout for it.

I just checked and I don't have that tab OPTIONS in this site (this is an old one)... please, do you know if there is a way to activate this OPTIONS tab? or maybe was something I missed on the joomla 3 -> joomla 4 migration?

That 'Options' tab is default tab of Joomla article content, do you have any 3rd party extension on your site? pls try to disable it first.

saguaros hi! ok, I see... I don't have content related 3rd party extensions... I just have Joomlart's extensions, JCE editor and JOMRES booking component....

just in case, I disabled both jomres and JCE but still no change... then, I went to the database and I found that at the table _CONTENT / column ATTRIBS was set as "text" string... so I changed it to "varchar" as I saw it was set in one of my other sites... then I copied the default information I found in that field at the other site... but still no change... pleeeease, can you guide me trough what else should I try?

yubi1 This issue often related to a 3rd party extension installed on your site or Joomla itself. I suggest you to post the same question into Joomla forum as our template is used for frontend, this option tab of article is in backend.

Did you install / update something before this issue happened? If you have a backup before that time, you can restore it.

I found it!! it was sooo simple! sooorry!! it was just at the article general OPTIONS - edit configuration tab... I had as "disabled" the options tab there... :S

Just in case, I did a roll back to a backup I had before making any changes to the database... I selected "DETAIL-2" as the layout at the article (URL at the private info in this post) but still there's no change... the template JA COMICS is loading in that page, but the special layout DETAIL-2 with the masthead is not loading...

please, can you guide me through what I'm missing?
