Joomla 4 update / template update

Hello,

I notice when updating J4, there is a check list to roll through, on a few sites that I have built with the template curb appeal, it requires a template update from106 to 107. In updating the template, the template looses the logo, highlight colors, the footer reverts back to default, and what ever you have in the header area in the disappears and the favicon also defaults back to shape 5.

Is there a fix / patch for this? Does this happen with all Shape5 templates when updating?

Could you share the credentials of your site: URL + super admin + FTP account? The configuration is saved into a json file, I will check if the settings is still there or not.

Here is one that needs to be updated and is requesting a template up date. Do you want to update the template and see what it does? Or do you want me to update the template and let you know?

Do you have backup before updating to version 1.0.7? I mean the backup of working version of your site.

Pls try to restore it first, then download latest version of this template and install into your site.

webcentric It's always best to backup your site before updating anything 🙂

You can install latest version 1.0.7 and configure your site again, it will not happen in the next version of template when you update.
