Concept of T3 css

Hi there, I don't understand the css-concept of the t3-framework. Since I found the following entry with the inspector I tried to change it via my custom.css which is in templates/ja_alumni/css. But (of course) it did not overwrite the entry. So I changed it in t3-assets/css which generates I suppose every day (?) a new css file (?). I am worring that my changes there will be overwritten soon. Am I right? How can I change THERE css? Should I put another css file there? I have been reading another post to that subject. But I didn't have the mentioned folder templates/t3_bs3_blank/css.

Hi belex24

When you enable from backend Template manager general tab the css optimization then all your css files are stored in the t3-assets folder - that is a temp folder used for this purpose -

When you are working on your website you should first disable css optimization and then apply changes to your css files - ( like custom.css) only when you completed all your customizations you can enable again the css optimization.
