I am trying to create an event in the future. (starting on 18th of September 2023 at 15.00 and ending on 8th of October 2023 15.00). I always get an notification "the end date can not be before the start date"

I tested with latest version of Jomsocial with the same period of time for event but the event was created normally. Could you try with the latest version and check again?
oh and I am using the 4.8.3

The problem remains unfortunately.
I cleared the Caches in the Joomla and I used a different browser (Edge) to test. The same problem.

that is interesting. I was able to see the event you created (edited it now for our use and will transfer ownership directly in DB)....so I am just wondering if it has something to do with the name I created originally (it has &-sign in it).
