deprecation errors on migration from Joomla 3 to 4 using Purity iii template

I am trying to migrate from Joomla 3 to 4. I see lots of deprecation errors on the migrated sight and many of them seem to be in the template files.

Deprecated: htmlspecialchars(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in /home/bmted/public_html/mm4/templates/purity_iii/html/modules.php on line 43

I looked up line 43 (and other lines shown) and I can't figure out what setting or configuration item it seems to be missing. Any idea of what I need to do here?

That took care of line 43, but I have similar errors on other lines. Sorry if I wasn't more specific. I guess I just figured there were some configuration parameters that I needed to reset.

I'm not sure what the package did, but it would be nice to know what was fixed to help me understand what caused the error in the first place?

Hi mendonmike,
You can download the com_content folder

com-content.zip

Then override this folder into the /home/bmted/public_html/mm4/templates/purity_iii/html/ folder.

That fixed the errors. Thank you for taking care of this! I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to this project, but I am finally trying to get all the loose ends tied up!
