Title and full image don't show in Joomla4, Cat Blog layout

We upgraded from Joomla3 to Joomla4. Using the same template, JA Morgan on both. The problem is with one menu item - Category Blog layout. In Joomla 4 when you click on the actual article it does not show the article title and does not display the full article image. It works in Joomla3. When I change the template in Joomla4 to Cassiopea it works as well (see screenshot), so it seem the problem is JA Morgan on Joomla4.

Have you checked the layout including the masthead position?

Thank you Dominic, but I'm afraid I don't follow. What should we be looking for in the layout? Can you please elaborate how that affects the title and full image not showing?
I'm attaching screenshot of the layout.

You can configure the Ja Masthead module and open the Menu Assignment tabs to enable the categories as the following screenshot:

You can check the site now, I have configured the Ja Masthead module.

Thank you but is this the best solution? Doesn't the template work the "natural way" meaning it would show the full image and article title without turning on the JAMasshead?
The problem is that the image is dark (I can't see CSS for the overlay) and shows date for ALL articles. We would really like just to display the article full image, no overlay or date, and article title below it. Exactly as it worked on Joomla3! here: https://www.downtowngeorgetown.com/index.php/news/870-pride-month-activities-downtown

And additional question: Where can i find module suffixes for JA Morgan? I couldn't find it in the theme documentation.

Hi adwebcom1,
You can download the default.php file here:

default.zip

and replace this file in the templates\ja_morgan\html\com_content\article folder.
Then disable the masthead module on the News menu.
