Hi,
First: The original title is not valid anymore, my fault, resolved the issue, did not notice bottom save button. However, the title of a post is not changeable. And deleting the postings just sets them to HIDE status.

So then other questions:
The front-end appearance of the slides is supposed to correspond with the order of listing. Unfortunately the first item is shown last during the first loop. From the second loop on the order is correct. Its not a question of loading time, in J3 it works.fine, effect occurs in J4 only.

When using various slides with a text (CONTENT), the field ALT would be helpful to classify the different slides when in Admin mode. But unfortunately the ALT field does not show anywhere in back-end when all slides are collapsed

I suppose the GK4 slide show works for J!3 as well as for J!4? However, in the description (tab MODULE) it says: "Image Show GK4 ver. 1.7.5 GK4 is new generation of our extensions dedicated to Joomla_ 3.x._ "
In the documentation section of Gavick.com Joomla 4 is hardly mentioned

Under Firefox 114.0.1 64bit, all add-ons deactivated, no posting is possible. Chrome works.

Regards and thanks!
Thomas

csoweb Hi

The provided accounts don't work, could you check again?

Sorry, my fault. Is now corrected

The access details are now ok in the header. Could you have a look into the issue?
Thanks and regards
Thomas

    Hi csoweb,
1/ To resolve the issue with the slide, you can download the gk_photo_2.zip file in the attachment and add this folder to the modules\mod_image_show_gk4\styles.

    gk-photo-2.zip
    13kB

Then from your back-end setting panel, go to Content > site Module > Image Show GK4, in the Basic tabs, you can select the gk_photo_2 in the Module Style section.

2/ To get the alt content to show when slides are collapsed, you can download the script.zip file:

    override-js.zip
    9kB

and add this file to the \modules\mod_image_show_gk4\admin folder

NOTE: You should back up the file before override.

    Hi Dominic, thanks a lot.
It works for Desktop version, but not for mobile (Android). On Android still the second slide comes first.
Copied as well the script into the admin folder, but no effect to be seen... tthe ALT field is not diplayed when slides in back-end are collapsed. However, this last issue could be solved, if the backend field YOUR SLIDES - TITLE (currently always just one dot ".") would be displayd in the frontend exactly as currently the field CONTENT.

    Thanks in advance!
    Thomas

      Hi csoweb,
Could you send me the FTP account for further checking?
About the script file, you should unzip the file and copy/paste the script.js file here \modules\mod_image_show_gk4\admin

Hi, thats where i copied the script. If you could look as well into the GK4 slideshow starting on Android with the second slide?
I added the FTP info above.
      Thanks in advance
      Thomas

        Hi csoweb,
I have helped you update the js file, you need to override the js file here: \modules\mod_image_show_gk4\admin

And now the alt content shows when slides are collapsed.
Also, I have checked on the Android device and see that the site works well.

Thanks, the ALT content shows perfectly now.

But under Android still the second slide is shown first, the first slide (see snapshot) shows in the correct order once all other slides have been shown once. In windows in works fine, there the order is correct.
        Thanks in advance!
        Thomas

            Hi csoweb,
Thank you for your kind words! I will begin checking the site on an Android device right away. Please bear with me while I gather the necessary information. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

            Thank you! My best regards!

Hi, unfortunately the issue still remains. Regards!

              Hi csoweb,
I've checked on an Android device and the slide seemed to work well.
Could you try to clear the cache then check the template?
