JA social II - J4 update

After upgrading from J3.10 to J4.3 we also had to upgrade our Ja social II to 2.0.1
In the background we now mis:
Template -> Ja social II -> style
There is no ThemeMagic option?

In the frontend we use community builder.
The CB part of the website now has a smaller font and blue link colors.

Anybody any suggestions how to solve our issues?

Hi Patrick,

Due to the changes in Joomla 4, ThemeMagic will not available in Joomla 4, it can work with Joomla 3 only.

For CB part, which version of CB you're using? you can share the credentials of your site: URL + super admin account so I can check.

Hi Patrick,

When using ThemeMagic, the changes are applied directly to LESS files so you can customize LESS files directly.

You can tell us how you want to customize and we will suggest further for you.

Hi S,

In the template style editor there is a text saying
"The visual settings below are for themes of your selected style. You can always use the ThemeMagic tool located on the top-right panel for further advanced settings."

Where can I start the thememagic tool?

We are using Ja Social II in combination with CB - Community Builder.
For some reason all fonts on the CB pages (profiles) and CB modules (login) are much smaller then the standard font.

In the example (J4, Ja social II, CB) you will see the small font in the CB login module (and in the CB memberlist) compared to standard login module.
When I switch to default Caseiopeia, all is ok. So my conclusion is, this is a template issue.
How do I change font size of all CB related plugins/pages?

Dear support,
still strugling to migratie to J4/5.

-1- We have the Ja Social II template, on a clean J4 (of 5).
-2- We have a Ja Social II on a J3. So we can change the colors using thememagic.

Exactly which LESS files do we need to change on the clean J4 platform, to get the colors that we choose on the J3 platform?

I found there is a folder and a file containing our template details:

templates/ja_social_ii/local/css/themes/zr (complete folder)
templates/ja_social_ii/local/less/themes/zr/variables-custom.less

I have uploaded all 23 files to the new j4 installation.

Now one problem remains:
how do I activate our ‘zr’ in the Ja social II template?

Hi Patrick,

If you want to utilize a theme on frontend, you need to configure to use that theme in template settings. Pls give it a try.
