Shape5 Corpway Template on Joomla 4.3.2

I'm in the process of updating a website from Joomla 3.10 to 4.32 using the Corpway template. There are a few things I've noticed which I hope you can help me sort out.
1) The search module takes you to a "404 page not found" page no matter what you enter in the search field.
2) On iPad, the search doesn't appear to be formatted properly - it disappears off to the right of the screen and appears as a white oval.
3) On my iPad, there's a mysterious red box with an X in it that appears on every page except the home page. On most pages it's right about the bread crumbs. But if there's a module assigned to a position below the content, then it appears above the assigned modules. I don't see this when viewing the site on my desktop or on my iPhone.

I've attached a screenshot showing the Red box with the X and the Search style issue.

Hi Dominic - thanks for the help on the Smart Search module 🙂
Definitely look better but there are a couple other issues related to the search module
to sort out as follows:

1) On all platforms, when you enter a search term for text that is found on a page - for example the word "Safety" - the results say "No Results Found". So the search itself doesn't appear to be performing correctly.

2) Safari - on both iPad and desktop, in Search Results, the title "Advanced Search" is almost entirely hidden beneath the Search Form. On the other browsers I have access to (Firefox and Chrome) the title Advanced Search appears fully beneath the Search Form. See screenshot attached.

I'm not sure if someone else is looking at the other issue I reported with the X appearing in a red box on my iPhone and iPad but I noticed today that it no longer appears on my iPhone, however it still appears on my iPad.

With Smart search component, you need to enable plugin and index the content so the search results can display. I just did for you and you should see the results now.

Regarding to the title issue, I added this custom css in the file: /templates/corpway/css/custom.css to fix it:

.finder .com-finder__advanced.collapse {height: 40px;}
.finder .com-finder__advanced.collapse.show {height: auto !important;}

saguaros Okay thanks for the tip on the Search component, and yes the Advanced Search title is now fully visible.

So there is just one issue left and that's the X in the red box which appears a) on every page, b) after com_content, c) only when you view the site using Safari on desktop and iPad (no red box on iPhone). I've included another screenshot which shows you that it's a "close modal" button that is displaying here.

could you clear browser's cache and check again?

saguaros Yes that's resolved the problem.
Kind of an odd thing and strange that it only appeared in Safari.
