Is it possible to create/add another menu to appear at the top of certain pages? In a similar position to the one circled in the attachment. The menu would have items completely different from those in the main menu.

I'm not sure how you want to use the menu, but if you want to place it in the header, you can use the menu module and assign it to the "header-r" position for each menu you desire

I have some seperate things that I would like to have a menu for but they only need to appear on certain sections of the website so I thought a seperate menu would be the easiest way forward.
