New install with 500 Error

Just uploaded the demo template of JaMixStore. There was nothing on the site prior to this. its a fresh install.
Ive done this before years ago and this didnt happen.
Since it was a fresh install i expected it was going to work seamlessly.

What info do you need to know?

Could you clarify the issue in more details?

Is this a new website? If yes, pls try to install a Joomla package and see how it goes.
Which package did you use to install? if you used Quickstart package, it's package for Joomla 3 or Joomla 4?
Which PHP version are you site is using?

new website?
yes i said its a fresh install and that there was nothing there before.
So there is no database that has any conflicting information

"Please try to install the demo package"
I said i installed the demo

"Which package did you try?"
I said i installed the JaMixStore package

"Which PHP Version"
PHP 8.1

The other files are not the Quickstep package although I do plan on installing some of the ither filed after I get the quick install working.

It's installed. All that completed but I can't access admin or front because of the 500 error

ae3d1 I got it, the quickstart package: JA MixStore J2s is still in Joomla 3 because up to now, J2Store component is not yet compatible with Joomla 4, we're also awaiting for their update.

As it's still in Joomla 3 so I can recommend to use PHP 7.4 or PHP 8.0 (it may throws some deprecated messages).

Pls switch PHP version and let me know how it goes.

how about a work around?

Id very much like to use the JaMixStore template but im using Joomla4 with the php 8.1.
Will JaMixStore (TEMPLATE) support this?
i already have a beta version of J2Store from the developer to work on J4
Again, i just would like to be able to use the template. so will it work on J4?

ae3d1 JA Mixstore template itself is already compatible with Joomla 4 and PHP 8.1.

The only part that it doesn't support yet is J2Store as this component is not compatible with J4. So if you don't use J2Store for now, it will be good.

P/s: You should wait for the stable version of J2Store before using it in your production site.

saguaros im helping them (j2) test out bugs. This is why they sent me a specific code for it.

at least now i know i can upload j4 and install the JaMixStore template afterwards.
