Hi there,
we are using JA Event Camp and are a little confused with regard to Theme and Layout Settings.

The preview screen in theme style settings in backend are our reference to testing different layouts and also colors but it is sometimes not matching with what we finally see in frontend.

Just as an example see screenshot from backend and frontend.

While in preview screen the section-12, section-13 and footer part of the page are all in RED and buttons are PURPLE (this is wrong), in the actual frontend page those sections are Dark Blue and buttons are RED (which is correct).

I do not understand why there is a difference while preview and actual frontpage should always match.

Can you please take a look and tell me why this is the case ?
For section-12, section-13 and footer we have palette 'DARK' enabled. But for example background color for this palette is WHITE in this case.
So I am really lost and this is confusing.

The good thing is that on frontpage the colors are all correct and are exactly as we want - but I do not understand why we have those differences between preview and actual page and the palette being used.

Markus

Hi there,
I tried to find a solution for the reported issue but so far was not successful.
Any ideas ?

Hi,
I have installed latest T4 System Plugin 2.3.1 but the issue is still the same.
The colors in screen preview for the styles we use are not matching with what we see in the Browser.

It is very interesting to see that when I open the style configuration in backend there is a very little moment (less than a second) that the colors are correct and then it switches to the strange colors we are not using.

I have no idea what the source of those colors is. The purple color of the ACM module with the countdown is the original one being used for JA Event Camp in your demo page (quickstart) but we have changed it.

Can you please take a look.

Thanks and regards
Markus

mberwing Thanks for the video, I can see the issue now, let me check and will get back to you.

    Hi Saguaros,

    perfect.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Markus,

It's quite weird with that Dark palette so we tried to create a new palette called Dark1 and assigned to section-12, section-13 and footer section. And it works.

    Kindly check.

    Hi Saguaros,
I am going to check this and let you know.
But this is indeed very weird as it should work to change colors on an existing and seeded palette and changes should be reflected in the preview screen.

    regards
    Markus

Yes, it seems happen on your site specific as we've not received any report for the same issue til now.
