Problems with magz II

I'm creating a new version of an old site and the template used doesn't allow me to use the options on the articles as I would like.
For example, the Other news section I would like it to use 6 columns for 6 articles, or 5, or 4, but any value entered in the options always results in 3 columns. What can I do?

in the first screen with the configuration options we find the possibility to decide the number of columns that the module must have in order to obtain a result like that of the second screen where you see 6 news items on the same row.
I tried to modify the values that are circled in red in the configuration screen but nothing changes, it always offers 6 news on 2 lines. I wanted to understand why and what to do if it was necessary to use it
