google analitics 4 dont work with this them

i use theme GK steak House on my joomla 3.9 site
I have to add google analitisc 4 cod 🇦 i go to template/ gk_steakhouse / features/ i go to Google Analytics codes /select Google Analytics / put my cod (G-9E4EXQGFR5)/ save
but this way does'nt work. There is no script on the page when i control the page ( F12)
There is no data on analitics after 48 hours
Please let me know what I have to do in this case.

I alredy tryed with FTP: i need to find inde.php on my tempate <header> and put the script here </header>
but there is no <header> on index.php file of this template

If you want to add the google analytics code, you can open the \templates\gk_steakhouse\layouts\default.php file.

i add my google 4 script on <header> ... my google 4 script her....... </header>

It work. perfectly
