I can't get the JA Social Share plugin to display

Hi,

I have installed the social share plugin but not sure how to get it to display. I created a Joomla custom module and placed this code inside <> but it doesn't display. The plugin is enabled. I cannot find a mudule for it hense using the custom module:

This is exactly what I am pasting:

There doesn't seem to be any guide to explain how we get it display. Does it requre cury braces?

You can share the URL of that page and the module name + super admin account of your site, I will check for you.

I have it working now 🙂 it turned out to be a GDPR plugin as when I disabled it, the icons appeared.

May I ask, is there a way to show cover images when sharing articles? I am using EasyBlog. Currently it only shares the link without the image which isn't very impactful.

With EasyBlog page, you can add shortcode of JA Social Share plugin into the layout of blog post of EasyBlog first. If you're using default theme and not override in template, it will be this file:

/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/entry/default/default.php

and make sure that Easyblog post has cover image.

In case it doesn't work, you can share me the URL of that page and super admin account so I can take a look.
