Hi,
after update all extensions and migration to Joomla 4.3.3 now we have a problem with the search function, magnifier symbol. After entering the search word, a new page is displayed with the error message:
Class "JEventDispatcher" not found
Page-URL:

Is there a need for installing something else?

It looks like an extension on your site is not ready for Joomla 4 yet.

Hi René,

Joomla 4 removed 'Search' component, it will use 'Smart search' component instead.

So you can replace the search module / search menu item by smart search module and smart search menu items.

thanks, now "smart search" works fine.
Note: Using only the Module "smart search" in the position "head-actions", it shows a magnifying glass and klick on it one can enter a search string. But no search results will be shown!
I additionally must create a menuitem, type "smart search".
Then the "smart search" works fine: The menuitem and also the Module.

You're right, René. It will require a menu item so it can work properly.
