Hello,

Since I have migrated to J4, There are a couple of my sites that produce page errors. I no sooner fix them, and another one comes up. One site in particular is https://www.sandrasmithdds.com/ - the latest error is this page - https://www.sandrasmithdds.com/index.php/extensions/s5-image-and-content-fader

What I typically do is use the redirect in joomla and it takes care of the issue. However on this site another one pops up a week later and so on.

I look for these pages through all menus, published, unpublished, etc, but I can't find them in the admin. I have no idea where they are coming from. I lean the site down with any extras. I did not have this problem prior to migration to J4 with this site.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

    saguaros

If you look at the redirects, there are many. Its like the site is producing urls that don't exist? This site is the worst for doing it.

I'll receive an email from Google - New Page indexing issues detected for sandrasmithdds.com - the url is not indexing - etc. That's how I know there is a new url to take care of. the 404 is easily redirected. the 403 errors are permanent. Once I make the redirect on a 404, I go back to goggle and click a button that says submit fixed url.

The page url's Google is calling out do not match existing pages on the website, site map, menu(s) etc. Its literally like the site is creating a url that Goggle can't index.

I can fwd you the emails from Google if that helps? Google is just calling them out, the website is creating them.

    I hope this helps.

webcentric Could you simply switch default Joomla template S5 Curb Appeal to Cassiopeia template and see how it goes? I don't think this relates to template.

        webcentric Hi

If it blocked this file, then you can open this file:

        /template/bigbusiness/vertex/tooltips_and_multibox.php

        Comment or remove line 65:

pathToDownloadScript: '<?php echo $s5_directory_path ?>/js/multibox/forceDownload.asp',/*if above is true, specify path to download script (classicASP and ASP.NET versions included)*/

        Regards
