JA Platon template issues and question

Hello, we're using JA Platon at our school's website and we're experiencing some issues:

At some widths the articles at the top (position 2) have a space that should not be there:

Sample above is fine, but sample below we can see the spaces that should not appear:
We would like to use a side menu, on the right sidebar but we can't figure out how to set it's properties to show the submenu below (even that, always visible) and not as it appears now, that no one can see:
The logo covers part of the article title at some widths, as you can see:

May I know in which device / screen size I can replicate this issue?

For the logo part, you can add this custom css code:

@media (min-width: 768px){
 #t3-content {
  padding-top: 90px;
}
}

into the file: /templates/ja_platon/css/custom.css

The issue is detected on a computer, as soon as the browser window reaches 1500px width. The computer where I tested it has a 1980x1080 screen resolution.

And what about the right side menu? Is there any config I can make to set it display like the one below?

You mean that you want to show all sub-menu items, right?

You can try to renam this folder: /plugins/system/t3/base-bs3/html/mod_menu/

and add some custom style for it.

Well... I can't explain that, but now it appears fine on my computer as well...

I'm not entirely sure of the issue here, could you tell me how you want to achieve?

What we want is to have the video area and the 2 news on top perfectly aligned all the time, but that doesn't happen when we're accessing the website on a browser window with over than 1500px width.

We want the 3 areas that I show above to stay aligned, like in that picture, and not as show below:

We can see in this 2nd picture that there is space between the first and second headline (both of them on position-2 of the template).

You can find a 3rd party extension for menu module in case that you don't want to customize this default menu module of Joomla 🙂
