I have an annoying problem. I am in the process of transferring my old website to the Joomlart Blockk template. Everything works except showing the Smart Search Plugin's search window.
It concerns the JA-Block template, with the Magazine3 layout, Header nr 5.
I did a test with exactly the same configuration with the standard demo installation. There the search window is visible. See screen shot 1. If I install the same template on my existing website, the search screen has disappeared. See screen shot 2

I repeated the test with a completely different template (JA-Coach) but I get the same result. So the example installation with demo content works well, but on my existing website the search box has disappeared.
What I tested further:
- I installed exactly the same components, modules and Plugins on both installations.
- Of course also tested whether all plugins are enabled and re-indexed the content.
- If I create a menu item with a search function, it works! Apparently the plugin with the indexing works, but the search box is not shown.
- I can also create a smart search module and display it at any module position.
Apparently something is going wrong with the JA templates in combination with my existing content !??
I looked in the Edit content of Header 5, but I can't place “head-search” !? I have not enough knowledge of CSS and Javascript for that.
Unfortunately I cannot provide login details. I now only work locally on a Xampp environment. But hopefully this problem is familiar to you, and can you provide me with a solution!?
