When it comes to making significant adjustments or debugging a customer's website, we often perform a backup first (if your site has Akeeba installed already). As you are aware, the process of debugging code can occasionally encounter unexpected challenges, or our updates may not align perfectly with the customer's requirements. In such cases, having a backup proves invaluable.
Typically, we would prefer to seek your input before proceeding; however, due to the time zone differences that exist between us, awaiting your response can lead to delays of at least one day. To mitigate this inconvenience, we have sometimes opted to create backups as a precautionary measure.
