We can only get this working on PHP version 7.4 should it work with 8 or above? On PHP version 8 and above, the translated articles show this error in the front end:

0 htmlspecialchars(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given

7.4 seems to be the only php version we can use. is this right?

Hi, it's on all of the pages which contain the translated articles. The account is set to use php 7.4 at the moment, so the error is not displaying. If you would like to check, please change the php version via the .htaccess file to 8 or above so you can see the problem. You can use the FTP details i've supplied to do this.

I tried to enable the debug mode and it noticed the error comes from the default file of Joomla core: JROOT/libraries/src/Document/Renderer/Html/MetasRenderer.php

So you translated from English to other languages, right? Could I take a backup of your site to check in my local? as I can't replicate the same issue at my end.

Hi, Is there any chance you could let us know today if this extension will work with PHP 8? and / or if this is an issue that can be fixed?

We would like to use the extension if it is compatible, but if not we have a different solution that we can use. please let us know either way though.

Hi, we have had to remove JA multilingual from this site, and proceed with translating manually. It's a pity because the extension looks good.

We have created a copy of the site and put it on a test domain. This copy has JA Multilingual and the patch update installed, but we have not ran the extension on this instance.

We have php 8.2 installed. Please could you try running the JA Multilingual extension and then you will be able to see the problems (and hopefully be able to provide a solution)
