I have installed the T4 Framework (version 2.3.3) as well as the t4_bs5_blank template version 1.2.0. When I bring up the font manager I have Google fonts enabled and I see the font names but I do not see the font samples in each font box. Do I have something missing? How can I get this show to samples?

All 16 files exist with permission 664.
burtcbl I meant the thumbs image, could you share the URL + super admin + ftp account of your site?

Sorry about that. While building this site I had the access limited to my IP only in the htaccess file. You should be able to get there now.
Could you check with your hosting provider for the permissions of files in this thumbs folder? /plugins/system/t4/admin/etc/googlefonts/thumbs/fonts01.jpeg
The images are there but it throws 404 error now. It seems not accessible.
saguaros It's working now. ModSecurity was blocking it. I had the web host put a rule in to allow files from this folder. Thanks for your help on this.
