on demo site and in template https://www.joomlart.com/demo/ja-findus when click on explore all listings, cant click or select any listings that show up.
previous version worked fine. Does anybody actually test these templates before they are published?

It's weird as it's working fine from my end now.
When click the all listing button, it redirects to listing page: https://ja-findus.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/listings
Click an item: https://ja-findus.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/listings/listing-detail/layout-detail-1
Kindly check again.
my bad, all good here. you have to click on the title, not the whole image like in other listings
