adwebcom1 Hi
Let me explain a bit about the sub-layout in T4 based template, normally, you have a menu item with type of articles content - for example, Category Blog
and assign a template style for this menu item. This page will display with the layout assigned to this template style. When you open a single article in this blog page, it will inherit the same layout.
However, you want to have a custom layout for this article page but in Joomla, there is no way to assign a layout for this case. And sub-layout
in template will help you. By default, a sub-layout is set to inherit from the main layout, our template offers that option so that you can choose a sub-layout for article in that page.
JA Blockk not only supports different kinds of layouts but also menu item types. In the Past Shows menu item, you set to use Magazine layout
- this kind of layout, you're able to set the layout for article detail page already.
However, you set to use a template layout which also displays sidebar and that's why there are 2 sidebars displaying there. My suggestion with sub-layout in that topic helps to use a layout without sidebar so it will show 1 only.
If it's so complicated for you, pls try with another article layout in menu item so it can display normally.
I hope this makes sense.
Regards
