T4 framework php 8.1 warnings On Template Settings area -Instance 2

It is me again 🙂 There are php warnings on T4 framework template settings layout area with php 8.1.
It says: Deprecated: strtolower(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in plugins\system\t4\src\t4\Document\Template.php on line 925

Deprecated: strtolower(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated inplugins\system\t4\src\t4\Document\Preview.php on line 102

I can't replicate this error even with PHP 8.2. You can backup your site and install this package:

I am a joomla developer. Actually I have edited T4 php files as described here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70285088/uncaught-errorexception-strtolower-passing-null-to-parameter-1-string-of

It seems that is a known issue of php8.1 and null operators. So T4 php files are not designed for null operator as below.So I have added ?? '' to the related lines of T4 plugin it is okay now.

You can add the null coalescing operator to this line of code:

$method = strtolower($method);

Replace it with:

$method = strtolower($method ?? '');

It should be fixed on next versions. For that reason I ve created this thread.
