Navigation links - content is displayed twice one below the other

Hi,
I have some links to single articles In the footer navigation with the template style JA Blockk. When I open these pages, the content from the joomla article is displayed twice, one below the other. There is no problem with other links to catagory pages. Is it a known problem and how to avoid this?

Hi kontam,
I have checked your site and see that the template uses the <readmore> tag to show the intro content section in the single article. So, the content before the <readmore> tag will be an intro text.
To resolve this issue, you can use the <hr id="system-readmore">
Or go to the \templates\ja_blockk\html\com_content\article\default.php file and find the line 170 to remove this section.

The template I use is the ja_blockk template. When I check content items, which use this option like e.g.
https://www.wunsch-hund.de/hunde-rezepte/hunde-kekse-und-leckerli/313-winter-hundeplaetzchen
there is already <hr id="system-readmore" /> used, nothing else. And these articles have no problem with double content.

But especially the impressum link facing the issue uses no <readmore> or <hr id="system-readmore" /> at all. So there should be no double content, if I understand this correctly.

Can you tell me what exactly should be removed? All from line 170 to line 199 to remove this section? And what the further effects would be, if I delete it? Means that, the first part of the content on several articles which use <hr id="system-readmore" /> would be hidden? That won´t work with the used content.

Hi kontam,
I have checked and see that the articles using the email will duplicate content. In this case, you can go to the Backend > Menu > edit Impressum > Open the Options tabs and hide the intro text here:

About the email used in the article, we will check this.

thank you very much, that seems to work. I also tried it on another page. Is this a template problem that specifically occurs with menu links for single articles? And in this case will the error in the template be fixed (soon)?

Or do I have to check the menu items with the content of all category blogs to see if there is also an email @ in the pages to prevent content from being displayed there twice? Unfortunately, the <hr id="system-readmore"> content is too important to deactivate it generally .

Hi kontam,
I have checked and see that the Content - Email Cloaking plugin will insert an HTML tag when inserting the email to the articles. So, I can provide another solution, you can go to the backend > Systems > Plugins and find the Content - Email Cloaking plugin > Open this plugin then select the Non-linkable Text mode.
Form now, if you want to insert the email to articles with the link, you can use the following HTML code:
<a href="mailto:your@email.com">your@email.com</a>
