The search module in Joomla 4.4.0 does not work after the update

    Make sure that you use Smart Search module in Joomla 4 as the default 'Search' extension is removed from Joomla 4.

        I have looked at my plugins and enabled smart search - still doesn't work, no results even though I used words I know are in an article

            Hi topflat72,

            Please check if you have indexed the Smart Search. If not, please do it. You can go to Components > Smart Search > Index.
            Then:

            1. Create search module
            2. Create smart search page.

            If it still does not work, please provide your site access in the first post (using the secured fields) then our technical team will check it.
