Recaptcha V2 doesn't work anymore

Hi,

the Recaptcha V2 doesn't work anymore. Clicking it goes on infinite loop.

(The problem is the same of this post but we use JA-Nuevo https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/47669-recaptcha-v2-doesnt-work-anymore)

Have you solved the problem there, since we have several other sites with the same problem, can you give us indications of how to edit the file in question or other info so we can be autonomous in solving it on the other sites?

Line 13:

JHtml::_('behavior.formvalidation');

change to:

JHtml::_('behavior.formvalidator');

it works now!!!

I tried doing the same update on other websites with the same problem and:

it worked on a site with Ja_charity
did not work on sites with: Uber, Ja_decor, Ja_beranis, Ja_techzone.

Can you tell me something about this?

spinosimarketing I tried to assign that contact page to Protostar - standard template of Joomla but the recaptcha did not work either. It's issue of recaptcha v2 with Joomla 3.

but I highly recommend to migrate your site to Joomla 4 / Joomla 5 🙂

I tried the temporary fix in the indicated post and it does indeed fix the recaptcha problem, but there are problems on other parts of the site, e.g. accordion and tabs.

I think we are forced to disable recaptcha at the moment, pending a fix or scheduled upgrades to joomla 4.

spinosimarketing If possible, I recommend to migrate your site to Joomla 4 / 5 as soon as possible 🙂
