Help with Magazine Layout

Good evening,

We purchased the template for our new Joomla website. We would like to activate the magazine layout for our 'home-new' content, but unfortunately that doesn't work.
Would you like to help us with this?

Hi Michel,

If you're new to Joomla and JA Teline V template, I recommend you to download the 'Quickstart' package of this template: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/joomlart/joomla-templates/ja-teline-v (the first package) and install into your local host / staging site, you will have a site with sample data alike our demo setup and you will know how we create pages for demo site. And apply to your site.

If it still doesn't work, you can submit your question into our forum here: https://www.joomlart.com/forums/t/ja-teline-v and share the URL + super admin account of your site so I can take a look.

We provide detailed guideline of how to setup the homepage as our demo site here: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-teline-v/magazine-layout#magazine-homepage

Firstly, you need to change the menu item type for the current home menu item of your site to Articles > Special page: Blank Content menu type (you're using Category Blog menu type now). Like this:

Then navigate to Position setting tab, load the news-home position for this menu item.

Finally, create modules and assign to this news-home position (details in the documentation above)
