Hello, thank you for the answer. I accidentally found the cause of this problem by logging into the website from another computer. For some reason, Google Chrome kept a javascript file from the previous version in its cache, and I think that was the reason why there was no reaction when the button was pressed. After manually clearing the cache, the problem went away.
