If you update via JA Extension manager component, try to revert it back and see how it goes.

In the Layout settings of template, our T4 based template offers multiple layouts in which you can clone the existing layout to have a new custom layout: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/t4-framework/layout-builder#layout-selection_jadoc
Layout settings
When you work with layout on your site, you should clone / create a new layout so that when you update new version of template, the new layout will not be affected.

That’s what I did, I have my own layer for each version of the site
mark256 Do you have backup of your site before the update? Please restore it and if possible, share with me the backup file so I can check in my local.
I decided to switch to a new template. I hope many problems will be resolved. Let's close this topic for now
