Hello,

I think I found another problem in the Reporter template. your template does not implement the content plugin events correctly like in the core.

I have activated a plugin from kubik-rubik to put at the end of the article information about the author and what he has written. Does not occur. It appears correctly in Cassiopeia. In the articles managed by the Reporter template, no.

How should I set overrides for the com_content component to make the plugin work?

Thank You,
Iulian

    Hi veterinarul,
Could you send me the admin account for further checking? I don't know the plugin that you mentioned here.

      Hi veterinarul,
I have customized the code in the file /templates/gk_reporter/html/com_content/article/default.php in template "gk_reporter"

You can check your site now. Also, give me an FTP account if you want to change it.

i now I saw what you did in default.php. Thank you very much, but the idea was different. I wanted to show the information in that plugin, not to code to show that information. It is an emergency solution and not a professional one. it is an emergency solution and not a professional one. It doesn't look too good. It doesn't display what it should - those articles are the most read, not the author's.

It's wonderful what you did. I'm really excited. But the plugin manages all 200 authors on the site. The photo of the author, data from the biography, links to his pages on facebook, linkdin, twitter, etc. are presented. That was the idea. I wanted to see the plugin, not necessarily the code.

The plugin goes in Casiopeia and looks ok. It's a simple plugin, no complicated stuff. In your template, for reasons unknown to me, it does not work.
Do you think you can give me a suggestion?

PS: The studies clearly show that it is important that in an article, especially in magazines (as is our case), the author's biography should be at the end of the article. It is a basic condition for the success of an article. Extended bibliographies can be made in secondary pages as it is in your template. That's why I chose your template which is inspired. But to be extraordinary we have to think about how it is used by our customers. In our case, the readers of magazine articles. If you want to enrich your experience, I recommend the following article from a UX expert that I'm sure you know: https://www.nngroup.com/articles/bylines-for-web-articles/

veterinarul I tried to enable the plugin Content - Author Info Box Pro to test with Cassiopeia template but it showed error: /stiri/vetzone-s-a-alaturat-platformei-veterinare-a-grupului-luxvet

        Could you check?

        Hi,
        Well, now work fine.

I think it would be useful for your templates that are for blogs or magazines to have a module or plugin that at the end of the articles will publish data about the author, some links with articles (which can be selected) and a module following similar articles (sorted after the same tags). This was a very good feature from k2 and is recommended by all UX experts. I think the value of your templates would increase a lot if you managed to make them taking into account the "user's journey through the website" and the "experience" of this user of blogs and news.

        A good day,
