Can't edit modules from frontend at Home page

Hello,
I can't edit modules from the front page, when I'm on Home (Front page).
If I'm on one of the sub-pages, I can edit the modules without problems.
Can anyone take a look at it?

This is an old webpage (Artisteer), that I have freshed up with a new template.

Hi Tor,

The sublayout of the home template style was set to inherit the layout of the homepage (which doesn't include the main component block) so you don't see any content when editing module

I just set to use default layout and it's ok now
