Hi, I'm using Ahrefs and it's telling me I have many errors on the site due to image urls containing double slashes.

Example below:

https://www.o-hx.com/o-hx/images/joomlart/others/supermrket.jpg#joomlaImage://local-images/joomlart/others/supermrket.jpg?width=656&height=462

How can I remove these references at the end of the url name as the url should end after the first .jpg file name?

Thanks in advance

    fing086 Hi

On which page can I find that reference image?

With some images on homepage of your site, they are from JA ACM module, you can backup this file:

    /templates/ja_prodex/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-1.php

and replace with this attached file (unzip first)

    style-1php.zip
    1kB

Hi, that was just an example, it’s happening to a lot of images.
I will update with your zip file and let you know if the errors persist.

    Thank you

Hi, unfortunately that doesn't seem to have made any difference, please see the attached image.

I found this explanation on line as to why not to use them:

It is a big problem for all the bots ( semrush, majestic...) but also for Google.
The sub-pages are not indexed and the external links are not explored too. In terms of SEO it's terrible as there is no link juice flowing. It feels like I'm working on a website made with Flash...!
Never do that as there is only https ... http and https are no more co-existing. It can be a security issue also.

They seem to state that its a http / https thing. My site does use https (SSL) so is the template not working well with https?
I'm not sure why the URL shown even needs the # and everything after it or why that's showing in the first place?

    Thanks

fing086 They seem to state that its a http / https thing. My site does use https (SSL) so is the template not working well with https?

Our template fully supports SSL, you can share the super admin + ftp account of your site and share me the info of the page which has issue with SSL, I will check for you.

Hi, I have shared the user details, the issues are across any page with an image.

The site is working fine but when checking SEO in ahrefs.com, it tells me that // shouldnt be used within an url and this in turn will stop the page ranking in Google.

My client has specifically asked for full SEO optimisation and I cannot complete this as the site is showing 33 errors of '//' being used.

      Thanks

I updated more files on your site with the same fix:

      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/hero/tmpl/style-1.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-2.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-3.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/testimonials/tmpl/style-1.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-4.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/teams/tmpl/style-1.php
      /templates/ja_prodex/acm/clients/tmpl/style-1.php

      Could you test again?

Yes, this seems to have stopped the issues.

WIll this fix be contained in other releases (or will any other updates disable this in the future?)

Thanks for your help as always

fing086 I've reported to our team to update the template, it will be included in the next update of template.
