How to avoid modules in banner module in position sidebar-r in articlesles

I have created an article that is not assigned to a menu item, so I do not have the option of setting the no-sidebar option for the article. This causes the sidebar-r modules to appear as below in (2)

Also i noticed in (1), the titles and navigation and so on are appearing in the articles but they dont appear when an article is attached to a menu.

I also cannot have a submenu as it doesnt appear thus placing the article in a submenu is not an option.

If so, you can configure the sub-layout for the template to use the default layout (of course, you will need to configure this layout to have no sidebar)

not all, only selected ones, blogs would still show sidebar. How can I achieve that then? Also where is the content (1) controlled? I can of course manually turn it off in the Options, but is there a proper way?

This is a sample of a general page article that we do not want to have a sidebar, but unable to find out where to remove it. URL is in the FIELDS above.

Chi-K It relates to the Layout settings, you can try these steps to setup the subpage layout.

1/ Go to Layout settings in template >> clone the current layout to have a new layout - for example: sublayout-nosidebar

2/ Select this layout to edit it temporarily and remove the sidebar in the mainbody section:

Save this change for this layout >> then switch to use 'default-sidebar' layout for the current template style

3/ Go to `Subpage Layout' section and assign the new created layout for it. The article page will inherit this layout without the sidebar.

I hope this makes senses.

Chi-K About these info: author, date, hits... you can access the menu item of this page >> Options tab and disable these options there.

How can i have the sidebar ONLY in the news articles? Like those in the link in the attached fields

Chi-K As I mentioned about the Layout settings, if you want to show the sidebar for specific articles, you can simply assign the menu item (which these articles belong to) with the template style having sidebar layout.

Thanks. it did not really work for me strangely but consider solved. I used a module "Advanced Module Manager" to help me achieve what i needed.
