May I know which content you will use to filter with JA Megafilter?

The position will depend on how you setup the menu item and layout on your site, you can share the URL of that page and super admin account of your site and tell me how you want to display. I will check for you.

You can create search and filter module on product page, but please note that, when you search and filter, the result page will be displayed in the JA Megafilter layout, not in the entire the product page.

Here is the steps:

Install JA Megafilter component, plugin, module
Go to JA Megafilter component, create new filter, remember to publish it
Create a menu item and select JA Megafilter, select the filter you created in step 2.
Create JA Megafilter filter module, select the menu item in step 3 and assign to position, page you want.

Thanks for your help and keeping the topic open, i did as per direction and set to be displayed on position 1 left side of the categories, but for some reasons its not showing, could you please help?

also when i visit the categories which has many products and pages, when i hit any page number after 1, it will show up but i cant go back to page 1 after that, for example

click page 2 or 3 then try click back on page 1.

I checked your site but you've not configured the filter properly yet.

In Components >> JA Megafilter >> edit the current filter >> you've not moved the fields / elements to show on frontend yet:

In Modules >> JA Megafilter module >> you're assigning to position-1 position which is not included in the layout settings in JA Megastore template.

Kindly check again.

i added the filters but i need to add another one for colours which is not there, kindly advise how to add colours or how to create it?

regarding position please see the screenshot as i need it to be in this position, kindly advise what position would this be?

and finally were you able to check the issue i have where when i view any category which has more than 1 page product, when i move to any page after 1st page, then when i click page number 1 it doesn't
move back to page 1 and just reload the current page only, it happens with all categories.

I'm not quite sure which colors are you referring to here, could you clarify in more details?

I navigated to page 2, 3, ... then back to page 1 but it still worked properly.

What I mean by colours is adding colour filter for example to view blue cables, or black or other colours. So visitors can filter the products by colours too.

It's not filter there, this Front-end Display Elements is place where you move the fields you want to show on frontend. As I can see that you already added 3 fields: Manufacturer, Length, Colour there.

It will show the custom fields of the content you're filtering only - in this case is Virtuemart custom fields.

It's bug of Virtuemart as I tried to assign Cassiopeia template - default Joomla template to this page but the same issue happens there. Could you post the same question to VM's forum?
