You can add the following CSS code to your site:

.t4-footer .t4-module .latestnews li a:first-child {
    flex: 0 0 28%;
}

Any chance you already added this code for me, as the problem doesnt seem to be there anymore in the desktop strangely. Also when in mobile the alignment has also run (should be where the red boxes are). I added your above code also made no difference so i commented it out.

With the following code:
<li class="clearfix" >

And add the following CSS code to your site:

.t4-footer .t4-module .latestnews li a:first-child {
    float: left;
}

Yeay. Almost there... one last issue in desktop, the fix made the top edge alignment a little off
