Error with coupon code with an amount not applied to total

Hello,
We've found an error with coupon codes that are set to a specific amount. If for example this coupon code is created:

And several classes are added to the cart, the 20€ discount is applied to each class, instead of to the total. This makes the coupon value much higher than the 20€:

How can we fix this?

Hi Roger,

When you create a promo code and assign it to a course, it will be applied to that course automatically.

If all of above 3 courses are being assigned with that promo code, 20€ discount will be applied to all of them and I think it's working correctly.

How can we then create a normal coupon code "Valid for 20€" that would be applied to the total of the cart?

I'm sorry for this late response, at this moment, the coupon code is apply for single course only, not the total cart.

I will share with team for further consideration on this feature.

Thank you for the information and for submitting the idea for consideration.

We want to start offering 20$ and 40$ dollars coupons to some of our cllients, as these seem to work really well in increasing sales. The idea is that they'll be valid for some of the classes on our site, but of course the promo code should be applied to the total in the cart, not to each course.

Adding an option "Apply coupon to cart total" to coupons in the backend would be fantastic and further extend the capabilities of Guru's powerful coupon system. Something along these lines: https://ibb.co/mqF9PnV
