Hi, I have a couple of doubts regarding an extension included with this template, JA Megafilter.
I read that this extension requires a different subscription than mine (JA Pro).
At the same time I see that in the JA Atom download page it is available for download together with the template and all other extensions used.

My questions are:

  • In the JA Atom template is it possible to use JA Megafilter by uninstalling Virtuemart? I don't have to do e-commerce and I just need a site with filterable products (no cart and online purchases)
  • Can the version of JA Megafilter that I can download from the JA Atoms download page be used in another of your templates? I ask because it is already more than three years old and if it were possible I would use a newer template and therefore supported for longer

    Yes you can use JA Megafilter without Virtuemart. Please check out the demo for Joomla custom field filter.

    The JA Megafilter version available on JA Atoms page is an older version (2.0.1). You can use it however it's always recommended to use the latest version available (2.1.0).
    If you plan to use JA Megafilter as one of your main extensions then you might want to purchase JAEC membership to gain access to its latest version here.
