Search Function Broken after Server Switch

My site recently switched to a new dedicated server, and it seems that the "Search" function no longer works.

I can search for known items that are definitely on my sight like authors, etc, and nothing shows.

Could the server change have affected that?

One thing I noticed from your search of "plating": There should be hundreds of results since that term is used throughout my site. The results shown in the image are dated after I switched to the new server.

For example, I have an author whose last name is "Altmayer" and he has written dozens of articles for me, and I add his bio at the end of each article; when I search Altmayer, I only get 1 result, which is Feb 12 that I added yesterday.

It just seems that the search won't go back past Feb 1 when I made the switch of the servers with HostGator. Could this be that I need to have something "crawl" my sight again to have it recognize all of these past articles, etc?

Indexing the content is required to update the search results, I just indexed in Components >> Smart Search >> Index and more items are showing now on the search result page.
