Hi there,
i am using the Light_Curch template. I would like to use the icon css suffix classes in some modules. If you use the default class name "s5_icon.[icon-classname]", the module can no longer be saved. The error message states that an invalid CSS class name was entered.

If I remove the dot and replace it with a space, the module can be saved. However, the result is not as desired.
I have already updated the template to the January release, but unfortunately it still does not work.

PS: I'm running on Joomla 5.0.2

    joomlabgst Hi

I just tested with Joomla 5 and the class suffix dark for that custom HTML module is still working:

You can share the URL of this page and the super admin account so I can check for you.

      saguaros Hi,
thank you for the quick reply. The gray module style also works for me.
The problem is with the icon classes. As soon as I insert an icon with a dot after the class "s5_icon", the module can no longer be saved, as dots are probably not allowed in the class name.

If I use a space in the class name instead, the icon is not displayed in front of the text as desired, but above and below it...

      Thanks for the help
      David

It seems that icon is not used in this custom module on our demo site, could you share the URL + super admin account so I can take a look?

joomlabgst I got your point but it seems that it due to the changes in Joomla 4, Joomla 5 which notices that error when adding that dot. In Joomla 3, it still supports.

I see. Then I will try to create this effect myself via the content and CSS style of the WYSIWYG module. Thank you very much for your support.
