Mega filter with Mega store

just a quick question please, how to set a specific filter for a specific category?

You can try these steps:
1/ Go to Backend >> Components >> JA Megafilter >> create a new filter to load data from that category.
2/ Go to Menus >> open the menu you want >> create a new menu item type of JA Megafilter and select the filter you created in step 1

Thanks for your reply, i have created the filter as you asked, and the menu but when i go to the front end, its not showing for the required categories.

please see the screenshots, as you see i have 2 filters,

filter which i want it to be for the Ethernet cables only with its sub menus
Fibre filter which needs to be for Fibre cables only

but when i go to the front end its not appearing

the screenshots are from the backend, i have created two fitters and assigned each to different menu item,

but when i go the that specific categories, i dont see that filter which i created for that menu.

i hope you can assist and show me how to setup filters for individual category.

dmozi313 I got your point but if you want to show the filter sidebar in VM category page, you will need to use JA Megafilter module as in Joomla, you can't show 2 components on a page.

So go to Modules >> create a new module type of JA Megafilter + configure as you wish and assign to 'sidebar-1' or 'sidebar-2' position and the category page.
