Issue with Checkout

Hi
im really sorry but not sure now im having issue with the checkout, i tried to test the purchase process to make sure everything is functioning but its not, when i hit confirm purchase it just stuck there, please try it in your end too

Can i ask you something, is it possible to install Atom template on y current Joomla setup and use Atoms instead?

will the products and categories be transferred to the new template?

i can do fresh install of Atoms but then its a big job to transfer everything i have done so far.

JA Megastore or JA Atoms are frontend templates so you can install both templates into your site. Then you can decide to use them by settings it as default template or assign to any page you want.

One thing is that, after you install JA Atoms, you need to configure everything manually: layouts / modules / etc ... if you want to show as our demo setup. Please check out this documentation for the details: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-atoms#pages-config

Thanks for your reply, were you able to do a test purchase, and see what would happen, it was working fine unless we made some changes in the files to make that display fixed.

It started to happen after we made some changes either in custom or default file.

Just try to add any item to the cart and go to checkout.
It stuck there.

I need it to be fixed please.

Kindly help resolving this, as I need to launch the site.

Then I will think about transferring to Atoms

just to clarify whats happening, after adding an item to the cart, go to show cart, select payment method credit card and the hit Checkout now, thats where it stuck and does nothing. please see the image below.

I didn't make any changes, if you remember the only thing we did together was the category display thing, you made some changes in Default file to fix the display issue.

I'm simple user I don't even know how to make changes in the files 🙂

Please try on your end add any product and go to the cart so you see what I mean by the issue.

while im waiting for your reply, would you like me to try copy the original Default file from the template to the site and try the checkout process to see if that fixes the issue?

It seems to be the Virtuemart's issue as when I tried to assign to Cassiopeia - default Joomla template - the same issue happens:

Thanks for your investigation and reply, here is what i found out, at the page when i hit checkout and it does nothing, if i refresh the page and hit checkout again it will proceed, so where do you think the issue is?

if it was in VM, it shouldn't work even if i refresh the page right?

All good, i found the issue, its with eway plugin in VM, i changed to Stripe as payment and its fixed now.
