Unauthorized to Access Error

Getting this error when creating a filter (it allows to be created) and/or indexing (doesn't index):
Unauthorized
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Based on what the link you provided stated, it's an htaccess issue. I do have the site access protected while under construction. I will open it up and see if that is the issue. Thanks.

Once I removed the access protection to the site megafilter now works.
