Menu Link Icon Class does not work

Hi, why do the menu link class not work
Link Icon Class: fa-solid fa-house

If you want to insert the icon to the menu items, you can go to the Backend > site template Styles > ja impact > Navigation settings and add this: <span class="fa-solid fa-house"></span> to the item icon field.

dominic Thats only for the mainn men

dominic Ok I get that you can do it like that for the main menu also with that i notice the icon does not show up on mobile/responsive menu just desktop.

But I don't want it for just the main menu though.
I want the icons to display on other menus on the site like the footer.
I'm planning to have lots of menus so i want it, so it can be like the original joomla where I just type the icon in Link Icon Class.

You can add this folder to the \templates\ja_impact\html folder, I have updated the files.
