Updating to Joomla 4 template

Hoping you can help, I have updated my website version to Joomla 4, and am trying to update the template, using the J4 version downloaded from your website, but am getting the following error when trying to install it.:

JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla.

Also, my website is now not visible from the frontend, showing the error in the attached screenshot (homepage-error.png).

Do you have any ideas that may help with this issue.

Hi Claire,

Your site is still using old version of extensions so that error appears.

You can access this download section of template: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/shape5/joomla-templates/s5-charity

Please ignore the first 3 quickstart package as it's used for new website only, you will need to download the template package: S5 Charity Template template 5 Mar 2024 1.1.0 1.83 MB

and other modules + plugins and install into your site via Joomla install section: /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=install

It will be fine then.

Thanks for your reply, I have updated the template and all the module/plugins as suggested. And the website is back up and running.
