Greetings,
I'm writing to bring to your attention an issue I've encountered while using the JA Purity template in conjunction with Bootstrap. Specifically, when the website is set to dark mode, the Bootstrap modal window appears white, which disrupts the overall visual coherence.
Here are the specifics of the problem:
Template: JA Purity
Mode: Dark mode enabled
After some investigation, I found a temporary fix by adjusting the CSS styles for the modal window. By replacing the following code:
body.modal-open .modal {
background-color: #FFF;
}
with:
body.modal-open .modal {
background-color: var(--t4-modal-bg);
}
and:
--t4-modal-bg: #fff;
with:
--t4-modal-bg: var(--body-bg-color);
This workaround effectively addresses the issue, ensuring that the modal window adheres to the dark mode color scheme defined in the template.
However, I believe that this issue should be addressed at the source code level for future versions of the JA Purity template. By incorporating a more robust solution directly into the template's codebase, users will benefit from a seamless experience without the need for manual adjustments.
Therefore, I kindly request that the development team consider implementing a permanent fix for this issue in upcoming releases of the JA Purity template. Ensuring compatibility with Bootstrap modal windows in both light and dark modes will contribute to the overall quality and usability of the template.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing improvements in future updates and appreciate your ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional products to the Joomla community.
Best regards,
